Machine Gun Kelly is setting the record straight about a fake post involving Megan Fox.

The 36-year-old musician responded on Tuesday (October 13) after a screenshot circulated on X claiming he regretted losing his former fiancee.

The screenshot appeared to show a lengthy message from MGK about their breakup. However, he said the statement attributed to him wasn’t real.

The fabricated post was shared alongside photos of Megan and a picture of the former couple together.

It claimed that seeing photos of the actress made MGK upset and that he blamed himself for the end of their relationship. The message also suggested he would never forgive himself for losing her.

What Did MGK Say About Megan Fox?

MGK directly rejected the screenshot in a reply on X.

“that tweet is faker than a pair of t—,” he wrote back.

The fabricated post now includes a Community Note, which reads: “The image fabricates an X post from @machinegunkelly regretting losing Megan Fox. No such post exists from his verified account; the pair split before their daughter’s March 2025 birth and co-parent, with his actual comments on her photos being lighthearted.”

MGK and Megan first became linked in 2020 after meeting while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass. They announced their engagement in January 2022 before splitting in late 2024.

The former couple welcomed their daughter Saga in March 2025, several months after their split.

Earlier this year, MGK also made headlines for his flirty comments on Megan‘s Instagram posts. She allegedly blocked him afterward.
