Credit: GettyKim Kardashian is clearing the air after an awkward encounter with Martin Brundle earlier this year.
The 45-year-old reality star spoke with the former Formula 1 driver and Sky Sports commentator ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday (October 11), months after she appeared to avoid an interview with him at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Kim was in Singapore to support her boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton, who was competing for Ferrari.
This time, she was happy to stop and chat with Martin, even bringing up their previous interaction herself.
“Did I not know the rules? Did we get off on the wrong foot?” Kim joked as Martin approached her on the grid.
Martin laughed off the moment, telling her it was fine and welcoming her to the Singapore race.
He then asked what she thought of Formula 1.

“I think it’s amazing and fun and wild and something I’ve never seen before. It’s amazing,” Kim said.
The conversation eventually turned to Lewis, with Martin asking about the driver’s confidence heading into the race.

“I’m just praying for the best tonight,” Kim said. She added that Lewis was feeling confident and that she was, too. Watch the full exchange.
The friendly exchange came four months after Kim and Martin had an awkward moment during his grid walk at the Monaco Grand Prix in June.
At the time, Martin tried to speak with Kim before the race, but she did not stop for an interview. The moment subsequently attracted attention online.
Martin, a former F1 driver, is known for approaching celebrities and other guests for interviews before races. His grid walks have occasionally led to uncomfortable or unexpected interactions.
Kim and Lewis have been publicly linked since earlier this year and have made several appearances together in recent months.
We previously shared photos of Kim supporting Lewis at Saturday’s Singapore sprint race.
