Jessica Chastain and Jeremy Strong had a fun little text message exchange that she shared on her Instagram Story.

If you don’t know, Jessica and Jeremy have been friends for decades and have co-starred in movies together including Zero Dark Thirty and Molly’s Game.

They both are competing in the box office right now, with Jessica‘s movie Other Mommy going against his film, The Social Reckoning.

Jessica Chastain revealed what Jeremy Strong texted her

If you don’t know, this past weekend, Other Mommy dominated the box office with a $45.2 million global opening, while The Social Reckoning made $9 million worldwide total.

Jeremy texted Jessica an article with a headline, “Other Mommy Spanks The Social Reckoning at the Box Office,” featuring both of their faces as their respective characters.

Jeremy also included a middle finger and a kissing emoji.

Jessica responded, “These pics are hysterical,” and Jeremy added, “It’s so funny.”

Jessica then told Jeremy he looked “SO SAD” in his image, and he responded that she looked “INSANE.”
