Radio host and former Dancing with the Stars winner Bobby Bones has gotten attention online this week for calling Shane Gillis‘ SNL monologue “funny.”

Many SNL fans were not happy with the monologue, which had one part that called women “whores.”

Shane got on stage on the live television show and said: “I haven’t been to the gym in so long I didn’t know that women just dress like whores now. I’m sorry, there’s no other way to describe – have you seen it? I’ve seen it. The shorts? Have you seen the shorts? Those neon – they’re like artificial bait colors. The wrinkles go around the cheeks and all combine at the butthole. And don’t look, you’re not allowed to look – for real don’t look because they are filming. I’m in the background of like 10 TikToks right now.”

Bobby Bones Brought Up This Section of the Monologue

“Shane Gillis did his monologue on SNL. And I thought, for the most part, it’s pretty funny. He just kind of goes at it. Got to respect that he takes chances up there. And one of his jokes was about the clothing color of women at these New York gyms. And he said it looks like the color of an artificial bait, artificial lure. And I thought that was so funny,” Bobby Bones explained on his “25 Whistles with Bobby Bones (A Football Podcast).”

He continued, “And so, yeah, I just posted a little thing. I said, hey, if you guys don’t get that joke… You’re probably not from the South or you probably never been fishing. And then everyone’s like, are you trans? Or are you a lesbian? Because of my hair.”
