Ingredient Tips For Bisquick Cheeseburger Pie
- Meat: Use 80/20 lean ground beef.
- Potatoes: Frozen diced hash browns are pre-cut and pre-seasoned making prep super easy. You can also use leftover roasted potatoes.
- Cheese: Cheddar is the standard for a cheeseburger, but any cheese or combination of cheeses works. American slices and Velveeta are extra melty in this cheeseburger pie recipe.
- Sauce: Beef broth and our fave burger condiments are added to the sauce. You can tailor it to your tastes.
- Crust: I use biscuit mix like Bisquick (or this homemade biscuit mix) to keep it quick and easy.
- Toppings: Offer a selection of shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, onions, and pickles.
