For his Autumn 2026 Couture collection, Zuhair Murad built a world around a heroine who has refused to surrender, a woman who remains standing amid collapse, powerful and unbroken, protective of what she loves and magnificent in the way she carries herself through ruin. She holds within her enough magic to destroy everything in her path, yet she has learned the harder discipline of restraint, choosing to transform only what truly deserves it rather than what is simply within her reach. That tension between power and restraint played out across the atelier’s full couture arsenal, butterflies and feathers catching light against shimmer, velvet weighted against transparencies, each technique a demonstration of savoir-faire built up over decades and deployed here in service of a woman who continues to write her own legend, footprints left behind in snow rather than declarations made aloud, her beauty never courting attention yet impossible to look away from.
