Zendaya just revealed the hidden meaning behind her two “Euphoria” rings. HBO

Zendaya is bringing a little of herself into her on-screen “Euphoria” character.

In a video with Elle Magazine, the actress revealed that a bit of Rue Bennett’s everyday look was actually crafted by Zendaya’s real-life mom.

“There’s two rings she wears on these two fingers,” she shared, holding up her pointer and middle finger on her right hand. “Those were my mom’s rings.”

The jewels are vintage — one features a pear-shaped citrine and one a round kyanite, both set in silver.

And, though the rings were widely reported to have been sourced at a vintage market ages ago, Zendaya’s jewelry-designer mom, Claire Stoermer, creates similar pieces for her own line, Kizzmet Jewelry.

Whether by accident or by choice, Zendaya happened to be wearing both of these sentimental rings during the pilot episode of her HBO hit, and it became part of Rue’s forever look.

“While incredibly unpredictable, I think the way she presents herself to the world is also really consistent,” Zendaya said of her on-screen wardrobe. HBO Max

“While incredibly unpredictable, I think the way she presents herself to the world is also really consistent,” Zendaya reflects continuing of the on-screen character.

“She likes to make sure that she, herself, is comfortable and stays in her comfort zone. So, it’s the same shoes, same hair, same tank top,” she added.

While the wardrobe might be self-described as slightly limited, “I have a little archive of, like, all her clothes, so everything that I’ve worn on the show, I have,” she added.

The Season 3 finale airs on Sunday, May 31 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
