The latest edition of WWE RAW saw CM Punk make a huge buzz following his comments about Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. Punk appeared on the latest WWE RAW for an interview with Jackie Redmond in the crowd.

During an interview with Jackie Redmond, Punk reminded fans he was ready to face his Royal Rumble opponents. He also mentioned several favorites for the match, including Seth Rollins, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre, and Sami Zayn.

However, surprisingly, while addressing his Royal Rumble opponents, Punk, out of nowhere, brought up WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. He took a huge shot at the legendary wrestler, claiming that if Hogan entered the Royal Rumble, he’d toss him out. He stated, “You can put Hulk Hogan in the Royal Rumble. I’ll throw his dusty a over the top rope and I’ll kill Hulkamania once and for all.”

Hogan last appeared on WWE RAW during a controversial segment on the Netflix premiere. He was booed loudly by fans in Los Angeles at the Inuit Dome. Now, with Punk taking his own jab at Hogan, WWE legend Bully Ray is questioning Punk’s intentions behind targeting the Hall of Famer.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE legend Bully Ray shared his thoughts on CM Punk’s comments about Hulk Hogan. He questioned, “Punk talked about Hogan. Why bring up Hogan and throw his ‘old, dusty ass’ over the top rope if you weren’t going to do it? Because I believe many people would love to see CM Punk eliminate Hulk Hogan from the Royal Rumble. That would be a massive deal. Hogan would get a huge pop in the Rumble. I mean, I don’t know if he can do it physically, but I’m just thinking, ‘Why even bring that up?’” [H/T: EWrestlingnews]

Hulk Hogan is scheduled to make an appearance this weekend at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. It will be interesting to see if Hogan reacts to CM Punk’s comments in San Antonio, Texas.
