Swifties are buzzing with anticipation that Taylor Swift may drop both Debut (Taylor’s Version) and Reputation (Taylor’s Version) in 2025. The pop icon has already successfully re-recorded four of her early works—Fearless, Speak Now, Red, and 1989. These re-releases have topped charts worldwide and featured previously unreleased “vault” tracks.

The ambitious re-recording project began after Swift lost ownership of her original masters in 2019. With these final two albums, Swift will complete her mission to reclaim artistic control of her record-making catalog.

The Taylor’s Version of Taylor Swift’s Debut Album (originally released in 2006) is yet to be unveiled, and fans anticipate that 2025 might be the year when the Grammy winner releases the project. Swifties who are aware of “The Prophecy” crooner’s ritual of hiding Easter eggs are constantly on the lookout for substantial clues.

A majority of fans theorize Taylor Swift’s debut album could be released during the spring-summer time. Speculating regarding the debut project’s Taylor’s Version, a fan posted on Reddit, “It’s a spring-summer album. I’m hoping it gets released in June.”

Another fan opined that Swift may release both re-recordings in 2025 if she wants to follow her release schedule pattern. The user explained, “I wouldn’t be surprised if Taylor released the re-recording in 2025 to match her ongoing pattern of 2 TVs, 1 album. Though I also wouldn’t be shocked if she waited a year to drop it on its 20th anniversary. It would be symbolic and a great marketing ploy.”

Meanwhile, both Reputation (Taylor’s Version) and Debut Album (Taylor’s Version) will feature some vault tracks that fans have not heard of. Gushing over her Reputation’s new vault tracks from re-recordings, Swift promised Time the songs will be “fire.”

She explained revisiting Reputation has felt like “a goth-punk moment of female rage at being gaslit by an entire social structure.” Additionally, the “All Too Well” crooner dubbed her re-recording project as collecting “horcruxes.”

The songstress noted, “I’m collecting horcruxes. I’m collecting infinity stones. Gandalf’s voice is in my head every time I put out a new one. For me, it is a movie now.”
