As a fresh week begins, there are many who are coming and going in General Hospital. The soap opera has a packed week ahead, and after some big revelations last week, there is a lot to look forward to. Of course, there are also some characters who are departing and will not be around for some time.

Here’s a roundup of who is joining and who is leaving General Hospital this week.

List of everyone who is joining and leaving General Hospital’s cast from July 7-11

This week’s General Hospital will feature some exciting entries as the story spirals further. Here is a list of everyone arriving this week (via Soap Opera Digest):

Finn Carr (Rocco Falconeri – Joining)

Most fans have perhaps already predicted that Rocco will have a big role to play in the upcoming week after he found out about the twisted way he was born. He will have a lot more screentime and perhaps an overarching narrative.

Vernee Watson (Stella Henry – Joining)

The Daytime Emmy winner, Vernee Watson, is returning to General Hospital this week. She will take on her usual role of Stella Henry and will share the screen with Brook Kerr.

John J. York (Mac Scorpio – Joining)

This week will also mark the return of Mac Scorpio to General Hospital. John J. York will return as the iconic Charles Police Department’s chief of detectives, but will reportedly function as a matchmaker.

Nicole Paggi (Maxie Jones – Joining)

With Kirsten Storms going on a hiatus, Nicole Paggi will play the role of Maxie Jones this week. She previously replaced Storms in 2023.

Lydia Look (Selina Wu – Leaving)

Last week, Sidwell made sure that Selina Wu had to depart Port Charles by setting her up. Now, Lydia Look will have a time off from General Hospital as the story with Sonny and Sidwell progresses.

Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones – Leaving)

Kirsten Storms is done filming for the months to come, and will go on an extended hiatus as she is shifting from LA to Tennessee. Nicole Paggi will take over the role temporarily.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates on General Hospital.
