Julia Stiles is making her Dancing With the Stars debut tonight and it’s likely that her husband will be there to cheer her on!

The actress, 45, is returning to the dance floor 25 years after starring in the movie Save the Last Dance. She has confirmed that the complex dance sequences in that movie were performed by a body double, so she’s probably not as experienced as some might think.

Julia has been in a relationship with her husband for the past 12 years after they met on the set of a movie!

Julia met Preston J. Cook while working on the movie Blackway back in 2014. She led the film alongside Anthony Hopkins while Preston was the second assistant camera operator.

Preston has continued to work in the Camera Department of major movies for the past decade. Some of his biggest credits include The Revenant, Deadpool, Jason Bourne, War for the Planet of the Apes, Overboard, and Skyscraper. He also worked on multiple seasons of Julia‘s AMC+ series Riviera.

Julia and Preston got married in 2017 and they recently celebrated their nine-year anniversary.

She wrote on Instagram earlier this month, “Taking a breath to wish my main man, my lurve, a Happy Anniversary. Grateful you are not on social media (Somehow you’ll hear about this) Thank you for holding down the fort while I live my dance dream, and being cool with my @ezra.sosa obsession. love love love.”

Julia and Preston are parents to three sons: Strummer, 8, Arlo, 4, and Henry, born in 2023.
