Karon “Ronny Doe” Cann, Chrisean Rock’s ex-boyfriend, tragically passed away on February 3 at the age of 24. His death was the result of a shooting in Severn, Maryland, which authorities have confirmed as a homicide. Police found Cann lying outside a home and immediately administered medical aid before transporting him to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was later pronounced dead from gunshot wounds. The authorities are treating the incident as a targeted attack, and an investigation is ongoing.

News of his death spread quickly after a man believed to be his uncle shared a heartbreaking tribute on Facebook. In the emotional post, he expressed the devastating loss. He wrote, “This feels like a nightmare. I been up crying all night. I’m not suppose to bury you nephew, you suppose to bury me.” His uncle hoped that their family gets justice. He continued, “It hurts so bad that your life was taken but I know your at peace now. I love you and will truly miss you. R.I.P Karon (Nephew).”

Cann had been publicly involved in a rocky relationship with Chrisean Rock. The couple’s split had made headlines in the past, with Cann even requesting a DNA test to confirm whether he was the father of Rock’s son, Chrisean Jesus.
