Son of rapper Project Pat, Patrick Houston Jr. reportedly died from a gunshot wound. As per the Memphis police department, Houston Jr. died in a shooting near Charjean Park in Memphis, Tennessee (via PEOPLE).

The police report says the officers responded to a call at 1.15 p.m. on January 10 to the area of Ketchum Road and Long Street regarding a shooting. Upon arriving at the shooting spot, officers located a male victim who was pronounced deceased on the scene. The police investigation did not reveal any details of a suspect or a shooter.

To cherish the memory of Patrick Houston Jr, a visitation took place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at M.J. Edwards Funeral Home Stage Road Chapel. Additionally, a celebration of life and a committal service took place on the same day at Memphis Memory Gardens (via Dignity Memorial).

Meanwhile, the father of the deceased victim, rapper Project Pat, is yet to respond to the tragic news publicly. The co-founder of the hip-hop supergroup Three 6 Mafia recently shared the news of his upcoming project on Instagram. The rapper’s collaboration track “God Made a Farmer” with Mary Kutter dropped on January 24.
