Tom Holland is a big name in the movie industry. While his fans are always eager to learn about his upcoming projects and personal life, his recent statement left them in shock. His remarks have many fans wondering if he is retiring from acting in the entertainment industry. Most recently, he opened up about when he can be expected to quit acting. He also disclosed his plans to have a family and focus on them by putting a full stop to his illustrious career.

Here are details on what Holland exactly said about his retirement.

Is Tom Holland retiring?

As of now, Holland is not retiring but he has plans on doing it once he has kids.

Recently, Holland conversed with Men’s Health, unveiling his plans for the future in the Hollywood industry. He revealed that he will be stepping away from acting ventures, once he has kids. He has plans on savoring his life by being a dad and playing golf. “When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth,” he elaborated.

However, for now, he doesn’t appear to be retiring, given he has major two projects lined up for the future, which include Spider-Man 4 and Christopher Nolan’s Odyssey. Both films are slated to release on a 2026 schedule. Additionally, the Uncharted actor previously also gave a positive update on making more web-head movies with Sony and Marvel.

In a conversation, the interviewer asked him if Marvel and Sony had any future plans for his superhero movies. To which, he responded, “I want to make another one. I want to make many more (movies).” Moreover, there are also rumors about the star appearing in other important MCU projects including 2026’s Avengers: Doomsday and 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars.
