Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayVision Quest is set to debut in 2026, with confirmation that the series will serve as the concluding chapter of Marvel’s WandaVision trilogy. The Disney+ project will continue the story threads introduced in WandaVision and Agatha All Along.
Vision Quest is part of MCU’s WandaVision trilogy
Paul Bettany confirmed that Vision Quest is part of a trilogy that began with WandaVision.
Speaking at Los Angeles Comic-Con alongside Screen Rant’s Joe Deckelmeier, Bettany denied the show is a direct sequel but clarified, “No, but I would say it’s absolutely, rightly part of the trilogy.” This placed Vision Quest alongside WandaVision and Agatha All Along as an interconnected Disney+ series. The upcoming show is part of Phase Six and will conclude the trilogy formed by those three shows.
WandaVision premiered in January 2021 and became one of Marvel Studios’ most acclaimed projects. It earned Emmy Awards and launched Phase 4 of the MCU. The finale introduced White Vision, created by government forces and restored with the original Vision’s memories. He then disappeared without further appearances. The show’s storylines continued in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and later in Agatha All Along.
Paul Bettany has portrayed Vision since Avengers: Age of Ultron, after voicing J.A.R.V.I.S. starting with Iron Man in 2008. He will return in Vision Quest, which follows White Vision’s search to rediscover his identity. The cast includes James Spader as Ultron, Emily Hampshire, Todd Stashwick, and Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy Maximoff’s reincarnation, as per reports. Alex Perez from Comic Circus stated the series will also connect Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to the MCU.
Vision Quest is reportedly scheduled for release in mid-to-late 2026. It is expected to arrive between Spider-Man: Brand New Day (July 31, 2026) and Avengers: Doomsday (December 18, 2026). Reports suggest the timing may set up Vision’s role in the next Avengers film.
