Keep up to date with our playlist designed to be the Soundtrack To Your Life with whatever moments happen during the year…

uDiscover is back with the October installment of its monthly Soundtrack To Your Life playlist series. For Halloween 2026, the 86-track collection brings together novelty staples, dark pop, goth, alternative rock, metal, hip-hop, and classical works for the month’s theme.

The playlist opens with Bobby “Boris” Pickett and The Crypt-Kickers’ “Monster Mash,” Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters,” and Rockwell’s “Somebody’s Watching Me,” before moving through Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun,” Nina Simone’s “I Put A Spell On You,” Oingo Boingo’s “Dead Man’s Party,” Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Bad Moon Rising,” and The Cranberries’ “Zombie.” The Rolling Stones’ “Paint It, Black” and Peggy Lee’s “Fever” round out the first 10 tracks.

Goth and alternative music occupy a sizeable stretch of the playlist. Echo & the Bunnymen’s “The Killing Moon,” Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus,” The Cure’s “A Forest,” Siouxsie and the Banshees’ “Spellbound,” Bauhaus’ “Bela Lugosi’s Dead,” and Ministry’s “Every Day Is Halloween” all appear. Ghost contributes seven songs, including “Square Hammer,” “Cirice,” “Hunter’s Moon,” and “Dance Macabre,” while Rob Zombie, Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Nine Inch Nails, and Evanescence are also represented.

The pop and hip-hop side ranges from Billie Eilish’s “bury a friend” and Lady Gaga’s “Bloody Mary” to Rihanna’s “Disturbia,” Travis Scott’s “goosebumps,” The Weeknd’s “The Hills,” Halsey’s “Nightmare,” Kendrick Lamar’s “BLOOD.” and Eminem and Rihanna’s “The Monster.” There are also theme-matching titles from Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, Imagine Dragons, Donovan, Warren Zevon, and Duran Duran.

A later stretch broadens the Halloween palette with classical selections, including Edvard Grieg’s “In the Hall of the Mountain King,” Modest Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain,” Camille Saint-Saëns’ “Danse macabre,” Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor,” Verdi’s “Dies Irae,” and Paul Dukas’ “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.” Halloween follows September’s Falling Into Fall playlist in the Soundtrack To Your Life series; Thanksgiving is scheduled for November, followed by Winter in December.
