Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayPeacock has finally shared the official Twisted Metal Season 2 trailer for the highly anticipated return of its popular TV adaptation of the classic PlayStation video game series. Season 2 is scheduled to make its debut on July 31 with the first three episodes. This will then be followed by new episodes every Thursday through August 28..
“Following the revelations in the season one finale, John and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly Twisted Metal tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso,” reads the official synopsis for Season 2. “As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface.”

The video introduces Anthony Carrigan as the next installment’s newest villain, Calypso, who invites everyone to participate in his deadly demolition derby for the prize of one wish. Anthony Mackie‘s John enters the competition, where he’ll get to meet new and familiar foes, including Michael James Shaw’s Axel. The trailer also highlights some of Season 2’s intense, action-packed sequences. The next installment will also star Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Seanoa, Will Arnett, Saylor Bell Curda, Lisa Gilroy, Richard de Klerk, Patty Guggenheim, and Tiana Okoye.
The series is written and executive produced by Michael Jonathan Smith, who’s also serving as the showrunner. The Season 2 directing lineup includes Phil Sgriccia, Bill Benz, Iain MacDonald, and Bertie Ellwood. It is executive produced by Mackie, Arnett, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Marc Forman, Jason Spire, Grant Dekernion, Peter Principato, Asad Qizilbash, and Carter Swan. The show hails from Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions, and Universal Television.
