Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, is being defended amid an alleged child porn investigation by his daughter Samantha Markle.
Samantha, who is Meghan’s half-sister, says their brother Thomas Jr. — who allegedly discovered the material in their father’s Philippines home and reported it to authorities — doesn’t have an airtight case regarding where the pornographic content originated, and that he is fabricating things for monetary gain and to get back at their father.
“There is no merit in these disgusting allegations whatsoever and my brother is disgusting for making them up. He wants to destroy our dad. Shame on him,” she told the Daily Mail Thursday.
“My brother first came out with these lies a few weeks ago when the cash from my dad was cut off. He has used dad as a cash cow for years and once the money stopped he made up the most outrageous lies he could to try and make money from the media,” Samantha, 61, asserted.
“There is no proof my dad downloaded any images. Those computers were out of his possession for two years. That leaves a lot of room for tampering. These are unsubstantiated allegations. Anyone could have been in contact with those computers over a couple of years. Dad was in a rehabilitation facility and did not have access to those computers,” she concluded.
Samantha made a similar statement to Dan Wootton Outspoken Thursday, stating, “I see Dad every day.”

She reiterated to Wootton that she believes her brother was upset about allegedly being cut off from their father’s finances and “wants revenge.”
Samantha’s partner, Mark Phillips, spoke to Page Six Thursday from their Florida home, telling us, “I will say one thing: It’s bulls–t.”
“Tom Markle Jr. has done this several times before, sold the dad out with lies,” he continued, echoing much of Samantha’s sentiments by noting that Thomas Sr. “wasn’t in possession of those computers for at least two years.”
Phillips also claimed Tom Markle Jr. “ran out of money in the Philippines” and “hates his dad, so this is what he did to him.”
Thomas Sr. is currently allegedly under investigation for child porn after Thomas Jr. reportedly discovered “hundreds, if not thousands” of child sex abuse images in the Philippines home the father and son once shared.
The patriarch has been dating his much-younger nurse, Rio Canedo, since earlier this year.
Thomas Jr., 60, allegedly found the materials inside several boxes and turned it over to police, according to a bombshell report by the Sun.
The content reportedly consisted of videos and photographs of young girls in sexual situations and was first reported to authorities in July.
An insider close to the Duchess of Sussex — who has been estranged from her father for years — told the outlet, “Now maybe people will finally understand why she has had nothing to do with her father since 2018.”
Thomas Sr. and Thomas Jr. did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment. Reps for Meghan and Harry did not get back to us.
