The official trailer for The Traitors: New Blood has arrived!

NBC debuted the first footage and new images from the upcoming all-civilian edition of the Emmy Award-winning reality competition TV series on Monday (August 17).

“Fresh faces. Familiar deceit,” the network teases of the season, which will introduce 22 everyday Americans to the castle and its deadly game of deception.

When does The Traitors: New Blood premiere?

The first two episodes will air as a special two-hour premiere on Thursday, September 17 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

The competition will continue on Thursday, September 24, with Episodes 3 and 4 airing back-to-back beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Additional episodes will then air Thursdays from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and stream the following day on Peacock.

What is The Traitors: New Blood about?

Here’s a synopsis of the season, via NBC:

Set at a castle deep in the Scottish Highlands, this nail-biting psychological adventure sees contestants work together on a series of exhilarating missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000. Hidden among the Faithful are the Traitors, who murder the Faithful one-by-one under the cover of darkness as the Faithful race to uncover them from the game. At the end of the game, if the remaining Faithful banish every Traitor, they share the prize fund; if even one Traitor survives to the end, the Traitors take it all. 

Alan Cumming returns as host and executive producer.

The 22 contestants include a lawyer, a pastor, a retired firefighter, a former professional baseball player and more everyday Americans from across the country.
