What is the major change seen in The Sandman Season 2 Volume 2 teaser trailer?
In the teaser trailer, Dream must face the aftermath of Season 2, Episode 6’s heartbreaking end. After spilling family blood, the King of Dreams puts himself and his realm in danger. In addition, the new trailer also unveils a major change in the show’s final arc. Unlike in the original comics, it seems like Johanna Constantine will have a bigger role in Volume 2, as viewers get a glimpse of her scenes with Dream.
“After a fateful reunion with his family, Dream of the Endless must face one impossible decision after another as he attempts to save himself, his kingdom, and the waking world from the epic fallout of his past misdeeds,” reads the official Season 2 logline. “To make amends, Dream must confront longtime friends and foes, gods, monsters, and mortals. But the path to forgiveness is full of unexpected twists and turns, and true absolution may cost Dream everything.”
The Sandman is written and executive produced by showrunner Allan Heinberg, based on the DC Comic by Neil Gaiman, Sam Keith, and Mike Dringenberg.
