Netflix has shared The Life List photos for its newest romantic comedy movie starring Sofia Carson (Purple Hearts). This marks Carson’s latest collaboration with the streamer after recently appearing in the action thriller movie Carry On with Taron Egerton.

“When Alex Rose’s (Carson) mother sends her on a quest to complete her childhood bucket list, it takes her on a journey that will make you both laugh and cry as she uncovers family secrets, finds romance, and discovers herself along the way,” reads the synopsis.

When is The Life List release date?

The Life List is scheduled to make its debut on March 28, 2025, exclusively on Netflix. In addition to Carson, the cast includes Kyle Allen as Brad, José Zúñiga as Samuel, Sebastian de Souza as Garrett, Connie Britton as Elizabeth, Jordi Mollà as Johnny, Dario Ladani Sanchez as Lucas, Federico Rodriguez as Julian, Rachel Zeiger-Haag as Catherine, and more.

The film is written and directed by Adam Brooks, who is no stranger to the romantic comedy genre after previously directing 2008’s Ryan Reynolds-led movie Definitely, Maybe. It is based on Lori Nelson Spielman’s 2013 novel of the same name. The film is produced by Liza Chasin for 3dot Productions, with Hutch Parker, Brooks, Margaret Chernin, and Kerry Orent set as executive producers.
