Jeremy Allen White wore his favorite sneakers, the $90 Nike Cortez, during the first few seconds of The Bear Season 4 Episode 5, titled “Replicants.” It’s unclear which model of the sneakers the actor is wearing. However, he may have donned the newer and improved version. This version boasts a widened toe box and a premium leather finish. It also has a foam wedge sole for added comfort (via GQ).

The Shameless alum revealed that the white-on-white Nike Cortez was one of the things he treasured in a 2022 GQ segment, “10 Things Jeremy Allen White Can’t Live Without.” The actor noted that he took the shoes with him “everywhere.” White added that he typically keeps a clean pair, in case he wanted to wear them for a nice occasion. He further elucidated that he likes the look of the sneakers after they are “beat up.”

The actor expressed interest in collaborating with Nike to launch a white-on-white Nike Cortez collection, which they stopped making, in GQ’s Actually Me segment. In addition, in March 2024, The Iron Claw star was spotted wearing the Cortez sneakers for an outing in Tribeca, as per GQ.
