Teri Hatcher has made her debut in The Devil Wears Prada musical!

The former Desperate Housewives actress took her opening bow as Miranda Priestly during the curtain call on Tuesday (October 20) at the Dominion Theatre in London, England.

Teri replaced her former co-star Vanessa Williams, who originated the role in the West End production of the musical and led the show for the past two years.

Teri will play Miranda Priestly for a limited run through February 6, 2027.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to play some pretty formidable women throughout my career, but very few can compare to THE Miranda Priestly. I’m absolutely delighted to be joining The Devil Wears Prada in the West End. Miranda is intelligent, commanding, and has a glorious way of putting you in your place while being funny at the same time,” Teri said in a statement when her casting was announced. “Her dialogue is unforgettable, her confidence is contagious. These are the kinds of roles one loves to play. I can’t wait to embrace Miranda’s sharp wit, fierce ambition, and iconic style, and share her story on a stage with a new audience every night.”

Teri is no stranger to musicals after starring in the national tour of Cabaret and recently playing Morticia Addams in a Los Angeles production of The Addams Family.

The Devil Wears Prada features original music from Elton John with lyrics from Tony winner Shaina Taub and Oscar winner Mark Sonnenblick.
