Hulu subscribers can now watch one of Lionsgate’s Western crime thriller movies, starring Emmy Award nominee Sydney Sweeney and Golden Globe winner Paul Walter Hauser. As of today, the divisive 2025 film Americana is finally available to stream on Hulu.

In Americana, Sweeney played a small-town waitress who gets involved in a fight to retrieve a stolen precious Indigenous artifact that can help her achieve her dreams of becoming a country music singer. The 2025 movie received a divisive reception from critics and the audience. It currently holds a 62% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, while its Popcornmeter score is higher at 78%. The ensemble cast also included Halsey, Simon Rex, Eric Dane, Zahn McClarnon, Toby Huss, Gavin Maddox Bergman, and more.

The movie was written and directed by Toby Tost. It was executive produced by Jason Cloth, Chris Cole, Jean-Luc De Fanti, Terry Dougas, David Gendron, Ali Jazayeri, Bavand Karim, Paris Kassidokostas-Latsis, Suraj Maraboyina, Alison-Jane Roney, Steven Thibault, and Michael R. Williams. Producers were Aaron L. Gilbert and Alex Saks, with Nigel Bluck and Peter McNulty serving as the cinematographer and editor, respectively.
