Who is playing Tombstone in Spider-Man 4?
Marvin Jones III has been officially cast in the role of Tombstone in Spider-Man 4, per Deadline.
Jones, also known as Krondon, notably voiced Tombstone in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. According to Deadline, Tombstone will also be in Spider-May: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Whether or not Jones’ Spider-Man 4 casting is merely a coincidence or if there’s some sort of crossover that’s happening remains to be seen.
Beyond that, Jones played Tobias Whale in The CW’s Black Lightning show, while he also had a recurring role as Louis-036 in Halo Season 2. Additionally, he recently played a character in Joe Carnahan’s Shadow Force movie starring Kerry Washington and Omar Sy.
How big a role Tombstone will have in Spider-Man 4 is unclear at this time. The cast of the movie also includes Zendaya as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, and Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion, the latter of whom hasn’t been seen in the MCU since 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. The Bear’s Liza Colón-Zayas, Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink, and Severance’s Trammel Tillman have all been cast in undisclosed roles.
Produced by Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into United States theaters on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU. It will be followed by Avengers: Doomsday on December 18, 2026.
