Grammys 2025 Cutest Couples: Miley Cyrus & Maxx Morando, Olivia Rodrigo & Louis Partridge Plus More
We can't help but adore Miley Cyrus' evening ensemble.
The "Flowers" singer was dressed to impress on the red carpet, celebrating Saturday Night Live's 50th season at 30 Rockefeller Plaza on Feb. 16.
For the sketch-comedy show's milestone, Miley arrived in a black, one-shoulder gown featuring a tuxedo lapel neckline. She completed the look with black heels, a smokey makeup look and her blonde-brown locks in an updo. (See all the stars on the red carpet here.)
It's no surprise the Grammy winner—who was accompanied by her mom Tish Cyrus and boyfriend Maxx Morando—was ready to show out for SNL 50: The Anniversary Special. After all, she's taken the stand a handful of times, both as a host and musical guest. Though the last time she hosted was in 2015—after her 2013 and 2011 appearances—she performed on the Studio 8H stage in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021.
Getting the chance to host in 2011 came to the 32-year-old at a transitional time in her career. Just one month before her debut on season 36, she was embroiled in controversy after a photo of her smoking psychedelic herb salvia had leaked online.
"A lot of people were afraid to work with me, which is when Lorne Michaels gets excited to work with you the most," Miley explained on the Ladies & Gentlemen... 50 Years of SNL Music documentary, which premiered Jan. 27. "I was seen as not being quite understood or not quite predictable, which is really what this show is all about."

And Miley knew the weight that came with helming the show, which was also emphasized by the show’s creator ahead of the episode.
"He always says 'it's the tight rope walk,'" she noted. "'They want to see you dangle, they don't want to see you fall.' There is no getting around the guts of the show. Do you have it or do you not? You see people for and what they are."
