Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayFans were diverging over Shaliene Woodley’s latest look.
Nearly a decade since her last appearance at TV’s biggest night, the “Big Little Lies” actress hit the red carpet at the 2026 Emmys in a statement-making Balenciaga look.
While the dangerously plunging periwinkle top and beaded gold pants were paired with a black cloak on the fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2026 runway, Woodley instead styled the set with burgundy opera gloves and a gemstone Howl Jewelry necklace.
Fresh off her first-ever Creative Arts Emmy win for her role in Hulu’s “Paradise,” the 34-year old actress wore her hair slicked back in a low ponytail,
The colorful look drew mixed reactions from viewers, with one writing in the Vanity Fair comment section, “What in the kitchen gloves arts & crafts is going on here?”
“I have questions. A lot of them,” another netizen wrote on X, while a third quipped, “Shailene Woodley arrives to the 2026 Emmy Awards wearing … truly unsure but hey you’re there, I’m not. Go off.”
Some fans praised the “Divergent” star’s latest look, with one writing, “Omg I think this outfit is fun!”
Still others were more on the fence, including one Page Six commenter who wrote, “I have very mixed feelings about this outfit. All nice pieces, odd together.”
Others joked that ex Aaron Rodgers, who made news for his comments about their relationship late last week, had something to do with the polarizing outfit; “girl your stylist is a mole paid by aaron rodgers,” they quipped.
One thing’s for sure, however: Woodley can now add Emmy winner to her resumé. She took home the trophy in the Guest Actress In a Drama Series category for playing former Graceland tour guide Annie.
She was last nominated back in 2017 for her role in “Big Little Lies,” though she ultimately lost the in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series category.
