The Severance Balloon Generator reflects the series’ core theme of separating workers’ professional and personal identities. The tool launches ahead of Severance Season 2, which premieres on January 17, 2025. Apple TV+ has confirmed the new season will have 10 episodes released weekly.

In an interview with The New York Times, Stiller discussed the parallels between the show’s themes and the creative challenges in Hollywood. He explained, “At a certain point, there’s always somebody making a decision who is not making it to your face or you don’t even know who that person is.” He also noted that the series remains rooted in its workplace mystery concept, saying, “These people are in a workplace doing a job that they don’t understand; they don’t know who they are or why they’re there.”
