The Daytime Emmy award-winning TV host is mourning the loss of her home in the devastating California fires.

In her latest Instagram video, Sandra Lee shared, “Thank you for all your well wishes. I’m in a hotel. I don’t have a home anymore. My house is gone. It’s literally gone. I’ve been crying all night.”

The loss is not just about the residence, as Lee also talked about her life of the past five years spent in the California home, which has now become ash. “I don’t know what to say, I don’t know how to compartmentalize this, I don’t know what to do. All my stuff, all the last five years of my life. The only thing I can do is go to work, and I’m going to go to work today,” she added.

In the caption, Lee further wrote, “I cried all night and thought about every room, nook, and cranny. It was perfection, and now it’s just Ash. Please keep our community, the firefighters, and the first responders in your prayers. This is not over- not even close.”

The 58-year-old chef talked about the raging fire in another Instagram post, revealing the state of her Malibu home, which has got her through “some of the darkest moments” in her life. While the loss feels immense, Lee urged her followers to keep in the prayers of all the first responders and firefighters at the forefront of this fight.

After splitting with longtime boyfriend Andrew Cuomo, Sandra Lee bought her oceanfront Malibu abode in 2020. She shared the happiness of fulfilling her lifelong dream in an interview with People. Lee gushed, “When I was younger, I was a waitress at the Malibu Adobe. My sister Kimber and I picked out houses on the Pacific Coast Highway. I promised myself that if I ever made it, I would go back and buy myself a house on the water.”
