After all, when ex Isla Fisher shared a sexy Valentine's Day snap—featuring her in an off-the-shoulder mini dress as she laid in bed, her hair seductively falling off the edge of the black satin sheets—the Borat star was quick to applaud.
"Stunning photoshoot," he commented. To which the Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy actress replied, alongside a smiley face, "@sachabaroncohen thank you."
It was a rare public interaction for the pair, who announced their divorce in April 2024 after 13 years of marriage.
"After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years," they wrote in a joint statement at the time, "we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage."
"We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change," the parents of three added. "We forever share in our devotion and love for our children."
They also shared a a devotion to privacy, keeping much of their relationship (they got married in 2010 after a six-month engagement) out of the spotlight.
"I get nervous talking about it," Isla told Australian Women's Weekly in 2022, "because I feel like, by not having my relationship in the public domain and not having spoken about how we met or really talked about our marriage publicly, it's remained something private and valuable to me."

Also valuable to the 49-year-old? Her support system in this new chapter of life.
“I’m ending 2024 with gratitude,” she wrote on Instagram on New Year's Day. “For my family and old friends who supported and loved me, to the new friends who have opened their hearts and homes to me and my children, and to those who keep shooting texts to check in. I love you all."
