Victoria Justice and Robbie Amell have been tapped to star in the upcoming horror thriller Send a Scare. 

Per the plot description, the horror thriller project will center on an “interactive horror startup that gives thrill-seekers a way to send scares to friends and family… but when potential investors host a demonstration, the experience gets hijacked by a real masked killer with a deadly agenda.”

In addition to Justice and Amell, other stars attached to the project include Karan Soni (A Nice Indian Boy), Noel Fisher (Shameless), Mackinlee Waddell (American Spirit) and Adain Bradley (Tarot).

Who’s behind Send a Scare?

Send a Scare will be directed by Capone and Chronicle filmmaker Josh Trank, who also serves as the film’s writer alongside Andrew Ryan. The movie is based on an original story by Ryan himself. 

Producers include Kinogo Pictures’ Ryan Scaringe and Range Media Partners’ Austin Lantero. Paranormal Activity’s Steven Schneider will executive produce along with Justice, Amell, Ryan, Trank, and Amy Lippens. 

Best known for her Tori Vega role in Nickelodeon’s Victorious, Justice has also starred in several television shows including Zoey 101, Eye Candy, The Real Bros of Simi Valley, 50 States of Fright, and — most recently — the legal drama Suits LA.

Justice’s movie credits include Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List, The Outcasts, Summer Night, Afterlife of the Party, A Perfect Pairing, The Tutor, and Depravity.

Amell, on the other hand, is best known for his roles in The CW’s The Tomorrow People as Stephen Jameson and The Flash as Ronnie Raymond. He also starred in a lead role in Prime Video’s Upload as Nathan Brown. Some of Amell’s television credits include Life with Derek, Revenge, 1600 Penn, Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous, and The Witcher. 

On the movie side, Amell starred in The DUFF, Code 8, The Babysitter, The Babysitter: Killer Queen, When We First Met, Desperados, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, and more.
