RJ Mitte‘s ex-girlfriend is speaking out after his tragic passing.

RJ, who was a disability rights advocate living with cerebral palsy and was best known for his role as Walter White Jr. on Breaking Bad, died on Monday (October 12) in an apparent suicide. He was 34-years-old.

The following day, RJ‘s ex-girlfriend Saint Sasha penned a touching message remembering the late actor.

“I fell in love for the first time when I was 18,” Saint Sasha began on Instagram. “RJ was the first person to show me how a man is supposed to treat a woman. He was the first partner to build me up and make me feel unstoppable. He had one of the kindest and rarest hearts I’d ever had the privilege to experience and he was still a friend. I can’t believe this is real.”

“Never in any lifetime could I forget him and how he made me feel. He was the first and last of his kind,” she continued. “Thank you for everything, endlessly, RJ. I love you, homie.”

Along with her tribute, Saint Sasha also shared two throwback photos with RJ.
