Can you believe it’s been exactly 20 years since 30 Rock first premiered?!

The Emmy Award-winning comedy series debuted on October 11, 2006 on NBC and ran for seven season total, coming to an end in 2013.

Created by SNL alum Tina Fey, the satirical sitcom centered on Liz Lemon (Fey), who tries to juggle the egos around her while chasing her own dream as the head writer for a late-night variety TV show in New York.

In addition to starring in and creating the series, Tina also served as a writer and executive producer. The cast included Tracy Morgan, Jack McBrayer, Scott Adsit, Judah Friedlander, Alec Baldwin, Jane Krakowski, and Keith Powell.

Throughout it’s run, the popular series was nominated for nearly 200 awards, including nine Emmy wins for writing, acting and multiple Outstanding Comedy Series wins. The series earned a total of 47 award wins from various organizations throughout it’s time on air.
