Perez Hilton was reportedly treated for an overdose following his disturbing livestream earlier this month.

Police were called to the 48-year-old blogger’s Miami home last week amid concerns as he appeared to commit acts of self-harm and was covered in blood during a livestream.

He was then transported to the hospital, where he was reported earlier this week to be in serious but stable condition.

New details revealed about Perez Hilton’s incident

According to People, per a new police report, Perez‘s sister, Barbara Lavandeira, fled his home with his children after she found him in his bathroom.

She told authorities that as she rushed to her vehicle, he also went outside, still unclothed and covered in blood, and began “banging on the vehicle’s driver window.”

Once the deputies arrived, Perez had already returned inside the house and locked the front door. Authorities then set up a perimeter around the home, and later, some of his family members and officers entered the residence and eventually brought him into the living room.

The fire rescue team “began treatment on scene for multiple lacerations and an overdose” before transporting him to the hospital.

The report says his sister told authorities he had been “suicidal” in the week leading up to the livestream, and their family took him to receive treatment the week before.

Earlier this week, Perez‘s sister recounted what happened, noting she did not recognize him when she looked at him.

It was also revealed this week that Perez‘s mother, Teresita Lavandeira, has filed for temporary custody of his three children.
