Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayFancy some film? PinkPantheress has locked in her first-ever acting role in a movie. Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, the Oscar-winning directing duo who go by the Daniels, are staying tight-lipped about their new feature film for Universal, but we do know that the British pop star has joined the cast alongside Matt Damon and Sandra Oh, according to Deadline.
The untitled movie follows the Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once from 2022. Rounding out the cast are Charles Melton, Sean Kaufman, Silvia Dionicio, Jackson Kelly, Kerrice Brooks, Thalia Dudek, and Michael Gandolfini. It’s eyeing a theatrical release date of November 19, 2027.
A move onto the silver screen for PinkPantheress makes sense given her apparent comfortability on camera and how many of her charismatic interviews have gone viral these past few years. Plus, she’s still riding high after getting two Grammy nominations this year—Best Dance Pop Recording for “Illegal” and Best Dance/Electronic Album for Fancy That—and becoming the first woman and youngest person to ever receive the BRIT Award for Producer of the Year.
PinkPantheress’ most recent album, Fancy That, and its remix version, Fancy Some More?, came out in 2025. Although it wasn’t directed by them, the new music video for her single “Girl Like Me” has similarly glitzy, fun, and fast-paced visuals as the Daniels’ past work. It’s easy to see why they would collaborate!
