The best part about Netflix is that every month and pretty much every week (and sometimes almost every single day) there are new films available on the streaming service to watch instantly. The worst part about Netflix is with so much new content flying at our eyeballs at all hours of the day and night, it can be tough to keep with all of it — and that’s before considering all the new content available on other streaming services like Peacock, HBO Max, Paramount+, Disney+, Shudder, and more.

These services do a great job of keeping the content flowing, but the information about that content can be tougher to come by. So here at the beginning of the year is your chance to get ten big Netflix movies for 2026 on your radar now. Better yet: Add ’em to your calendars now. Or put them in your watchlists on Letterboxd now. Whatever you’ve got to do. Just don’t forget about ’em.

The ten titles we’re highlighting include comedies, action movies, animated family films, thrillers, crime movies, and massive fantasy epics. It represents a small drop in the bucket of what’s coming to Netflix in 2026 — we didn’t even touch the massive lists of TV series coming to streaming yet. But this is a good starting point to look at the year ahead in home viewing. (For the year ahead in theatrical viewing, you’ll have to look elsewhere.)
