Although their romantic relationship has ended, the pair has emphasized their commitment to co-parenting their daughter, Daisy.

Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry officially split

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have officially gone their separate ways after months of rumors surrounding their relationship. On July 4, representatives for the pair released a statement confirming the end of their nearly decade-long relationship. According to the announcement, “Representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.”

Despite the split, the statement emphasized that Perry and Bloom remain committed to raising their child in a loving and respectful environment. The statement read, “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.” (via Independent)

While neither Perry nor Bloom has publicly commented on the breakup, recent public appearances have fueled speculation. Bloom was recently seen attending Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s lavish wedding in Venice, Italy. He was spotted arriving alone on June 26. Moreover, he was later seen walking through the city with Sydney Sweeney and Tom Brady. Bloom was also photographed enjoying lunch with Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kris Jenner at the Gritti Palace Hotel.

The split comes months after Perry drew criticism during her world tour for her stage antics as well as for participating in an April Blue Origin spaceflight alongside five other women.

Perry and Bloom first met at a Golden Globes afterparty in 2016 and began dating shortly after. Their relationship was marked by a brief separation in 2017. They welcomed their daughter Daisy in 2020.
