Kim Kardashian is in France today, but not for the Cannes Film Festival. She's finally facing the suspects accused of robbing her at gunpoint in a terrifying 2016 jewelry heist, and she brought along her always-supportive mom, Kris Jenner. And while the matter at hand is very serious, Kardashian and Jenner stayed true to form by bringing their top-tier glam game, with the legendary momager changing up her usual look for a totally unexpected wet-hair moment.

The mother and daughter arrived at Assize Court on Tuesday, May 13, looking especially stylish. Kardashian accessorized her long, black skirt and dramatic peplum blazer with a diamond necklace and a full-blown ear party of hoops and crawlers. Her updo's straight tendrils stayed tucked on the inside of her Alaia sunglasses. On the way up the stairs, she waved to photographers, revealing a long, pale pink, coffin-shaped manicure.

Jenner's look, on the other hand, was quite a departure from her usual sleek yet shaggy pixie. A perfect pairing with her oversized plaid blazer and tie, her longer-than-usual hair was side-parted and slicked down to create a flippy, wet-look bob. Although most of the hair was tucked behind her ears, a couple of wispy pieces were left sculped on the sides of her face, right under the Lanvin logo on her sunglasses.
