Nick Viall and Natalie Joy Viall are navigating another tragic loss.
The Bachelor alum's wife shared that she suffered a second miscarriage, almost two months after the couple revealed their first pregnancy loss.
Natalie—who shares daughter River Rose, 13 months, with Nick—wrote on her Instagram Stories March 23, "While mourning the loss of our second baby at the beginning of this year, I quickly and very unexpectedly found out I was pregnant again."
The 26-year-old continued, "It took some time for me to accept what had happened only to be handed another chance so easily and so fast. but eventually I found so much happiness. we were finally in a place of complete and utter gratitude. This past week I miscarried again."
Unlike her first pregnancy loss, Natalie required surgical intervention for her latest miscarriage. "I underwent a D&C this time," she said, referring to a dilation and curettage procedure to scrape and collect tissue from inside the uterus, "which was harder than I imagined."
Natalie is leaning on the support of her loved ones as she recovers. "It's going to take some time for me to feel like myself again and honestly I may never will," she wrote. "But I hope to keep yall involved in whatever that may look like. Going back to squeezing my husband and my sweet angel River Rose who are truly the reason I have survived this time and time again."
Nick, 44, reposted Natalie's message on his Instagram Stories and then shared a pic of her playing with River in a sandbox, adding a red heart emoji.

The couple announced their first pregnancy loss on their podcast The Viall Files. "Currently as I sit here, today I'm actively miscarrying our second child," Natalie said on the Jan. 29 episode, "and it has been the biggest heartbreak, I think, of my life."
She said she had been spotting for a while before her first miscarriage, which occurred early in her pregnancy. "I went to go pee and it was like I gave birth," she said. "I was screaming and crying and Nick ran into the bathroom. You just think like, 'How are you supposed to stand up and flush this baby down the toilet?'"
Nick said he retrieved what she had passed for a burial. "As traumatic as it was, I hope the moms never have to do that themselves," he said, "and I hope that all the dads out there are willing to do that."
Natalie told her husband, "I've never been more heartbroken or sad but I know that I have a family that needs me and it's what gets me out of bed every day. And I'm grateful for that and I love you so much."
