The Challenge stars called it quits a year after they announced their engagement on September 17, 2023. The announcement of the split was revealed via a joint statement shared on their respective Instagram Stories. “After a lot of reflection, Kaycee and I have decided to go our separate ways,” the statement reads.

It further states, “This definitely wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s what’s best for the both of us. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way—we’re both moving forward with love and kindness in our hearts & we ask that you respect our need for privacy at this time. The former couple have not shared the reason for the split. Rumours of their break up had already gained traction online among fans even before the confirmation by González and Clark.
