Warner Bros. Games has shown off a new Mortal Kombat 1 trailer today, showing off the gameplay for the upcoming DLC guest fighter Conan the Barbarian, and how the iconic Cimmerian warrior will play in the game.

What happens in the Mortal Kombat 1 trailer?

Featuring the likeness of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger from his role in the 1982 film of the same name, Conan the Barbarian operates pretty much how you’d expect a character like him to fight. Using his sword and brute strength, Conan can overpower enemies with big swings and sprinting attacks, as well as simply picking them up and hurling them into the ground. The trailer also showcases what his fatality looks like, in typical Mortal Kombat fashion.

Check out the new Mortal Kombat 1 trailer showing off Conan the Barbarian below:

Conan the Barbarian will arrive as part of Mortal Kombat 1’s Khaos Reign expansion pack on January 21, 2025. Owners who have the Khaos Reigns expansion will be able to use him then, as that’s when early access opens up. A week later, on January 28, 2025, the character will be available widely, with anyone able to purchase him and play.

Outside of Conan the Barbarian, Mortal Kombat 1 is also set to get another playable character from a legendary movie in the form of the T1000 from Terminator. It’s unknown when the character will be available in the game just yet, but NeatherRealm Studios has already begun teasing their appearance, so it might be sooner than we think.
