Melania Trump is taking a rare interview.

The 56-year-old First Lady of the United States spoke out in an interview with Fox Sports’ Jamie Little at IndyCar Freedom 250 Grand Prix on Sunday (August 23) in Washington D.C.

During the conversation, she spoke about the experience and revealed that she has a love for cars.

“When I was growing up, my father introduced me to races and to race cars, and he owned some incredible cars — [including] a Maserati, Cougar, Mustang, Mercedes,” she said.

“So he introduced me to the design of cars, and the mechanics, and also the speed,” she added.

Melania grew up in the town of Sevnica, Slovenia before moving to the U.S. to pursue a modeling career in 1996. Melania Trump‘s father, Viktor Knavs, is an 82-year-old Slovenian businessman.
