Meghan Markle helped design a limited-edition crewneck in support of Moms Offering More (MOM) and Alliance of Moms. meghan/Instagram

Just call it a tiny but mighty reminder.

Meghan Markle celebrated International Day of the Girl on Oct. 11 by launching a new charity sweatshirt collaboration in partnership with Moms Offering More (MOM), a nonprofit supporting mothers and families in need.

The Duchess of Sussex, 45, helped design a cream-colored $100 crewneck embroidered with a meaningful message across the back and at the sleeve: “It’s the Little Things.” One hundred percent of each purchase benefits Moms Offering More and Alliance of Moms.

The quote was inspired by an experience Moms Offering More founder Kasondra Herrendorf Cohen shared with her father, Hershel Herrendorf, in May 2014. As the pair watched a man feeding the ducks in Vancouver’s Stanley Park, Herrendorf mused: “It’s the little things in life that bring people happiness. You never truly know somebody’s story.”

Herrendorf died suddenly the very next day, and his daughter has carried his words with her ever since.

The sweatshirt retails for $100, with the proceeds split evently between the two charities. https://www.momsofferingmore.com/shop/p/mom-x-meghan-duchess-of-sussex

“Our goal from the beginning was to create something that felt easy, wearable, and meaningful — something people would genuinely want to live in. Meghan was involved from the start and helped us select the beautiful neutral colors which feel true to her aesthetic,” Herrendorf Cohen told People.

“I appreciated how creative she was throughout the design process and how focused she remained on the purpose of the project: supporting mothers, families and the organizations doing that work.”

MOM provides assistance to historically underserved mothers, youth and families in the US and Canada by investing food security, childcare and more. Alliance of Moms, meanwhile, is an LA-based organization supporting pregnant and parenting youth in the city’s foster care system.

Markle shared a statement with the outlet as well, speaking to MOM’s mission and the impetus for the collaboration.

“We share one intention as parents,” she said, “a safe and loving future for our children — that’s why at Archewell Philanthropies, we partnered with Moms Offering More on this meaningful campaign, in support of the Alliance of Moms. We can all appreciate that ‘the little things’ ladder up to big outcomes, especially when it comes to the future of our children, and we are proud to work together on this initiative as we honor International Day of the Girl.”

Available in sizes S through XXXL (at press time, size L was already sold out), the sweatshirt will be available for purchase on MOM’s website for a limited time.
