Bachelor Nation's Ben Higgins and Wife Jessica Clarke Expecting Their First Baby

The Bachelor Nation family has grown by one.

Madi Prewett—who competed on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor in 2020—shared she welcomed her and husband Grant Troutt’s first baby, a girl on Jan. 20.

“Hosanna Rose Troutt,” Madi wrote on the Jan. 26 Instagram post alongside photos of her and Grant heading home from the hospital as well as solo shots of their little girl in a pink outfit . “1•20•25.”

Madi’s comments were filled with celebration including from Little People, Big World’s Tori Roloff who wrote, “Congratulations! What a perfect sweet bundle!! You are going to be the best mama.”

As for how life with their little girl is going, Madi gave a glimpse while marking one week of parenthood.

“She’s 1 week old today,” the 28-year-old wrote over a picture of her daughter lying next to her and Grant’s hands on her Instagram Story Jan. 26. “I am truly just so in love and so thankful. Thank you for those who have prayed for her and for us. I am embracing and loving this newborn bubble we have been in and I will be in. I’m going to share the full birth story on @staytruepodcast later but for now—I’m getting all the cuddles.”

Madi and Grant—who tied the knot in 2022—announced they were expecting their first child in August. The pair posed alongside each other in coordinating white outfits as they held the sonogram photos for the camera.

“WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!,” Madi wrote on the August 18 Instagram post. “Baby Troutt we are SO ready for you and can’t wait to meet you.”

Madi previously spoke about the moment she found out she was pregnant, which she revealed came shortly after her and Grant began trying.

"We said we don’t wanna put any pressure on it, we don’t know what this journey’s gonna look like,” Madi said on her Stay True with Madison Prewett podcast with Grant in August. “Again, we didn’t want to just expect that we were gonna be able to get pregnant. We’ve walked our friends through a lot of really hard things.”

And she admitted to being surprised by the test.

"There was nothing in my mind that even for a second was like, ‘This could be pregnant,’” she said at the time. “I don’t know why my mind just didn’t even go there.”

For Grant, who found out a week after Madi due to work, he called the news, “one of the most surreal moments of my life.”
