Madelyn Cline & Lukas Gage Enjoy a Friendly Night Out in West Hollywood, Respond to Dating Rumors

Madelyn Cline and her close friend Lukas Gage are having a fun night out!

The Outer Banks star and The White Lotus actor were spotted arriving at The Bird Streets Club on Saturday night (January 31) in West Hollywood, Calif.

For their night out, Madelyn, 28, wore a fitted mini dress with draped detailing and a cowl neckline paired with a black handbag. Lukas, 30, opted for a dark-toned jacket and black pants.

Gossip site DeuxMoi posted a photo of them out in public on Monday (February 2), calling them a new couple and captioning the pic, “from friends to flames.”

But both Madelyn and Lukas commented on the post to tamp down the rumors.

“Loml but also i feel like there are better pictures of me,” the actress wrote.

“@madelyncline and me i had an IPL that day,” Lukas replied. IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light therapy, which is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment to stimulate collagen.

Chatting with E! News, Madelyn said she had been trying to cover up the redness from the treatment with makeup, which is why she commented back: “i literally dont even know how to bake.”

And while Madelyn confessed she did once have a crush on Lukas when they first met on the set of What Breaks the Ice in 2021, now she considers him her “Gemini sister.”

“I really f–king am, for life,” Lukas said. “You’re a very loyal friend, too. You’ve had my back.”

They continued to joke back and forth, with the Smile 2 star asking Madelyn “What did you do last summer?” a nod to her 2025 slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Madelyn fired back, “Not you, unfortunately.”

And Lukas concluded with, “That lavender marriage is going down.”
