Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayMany want to know what Lollapalooza 2025 ticket prices are after the event sold out within minutes, particularly whether they should buy resale tickets or remain on the waitlist. Fans that don’t yet have a ticket but want to attend the music festival, which takes place between July 31 and August 3, are trying to shop around for the best price. Here’s a quick comparison between resale and waitlist tickets for Lollapalooza this year.
Should I buy Lollapalooza 2025 resale tickets or stay on the waitlist?
It’s recommended that fans remain on the Lollapalooza 2025 waitlist and only purchase resale tickets if they are unable to get waitlist tickets over the coming months.
As of March 21, 2025, the official prices for general admission Lollapalooza 2025 tickets are $189 (Tier 2) for Thursday and Friday, $378 (Tier 2) for 2-day tickets, and $415 (Tier 2) for 4-day tickets. The 4-day tickets are currently sold out, but waitlist tickets should cost roughly $445 (Tier 3) or $475 (Tier 4) when they become available. In 2024, many customers on the waitlist got tickets near the end of April and May, so we expect this to happen again this year.
By comparison, verified resale 4-day tickets for general admission are almost already double the price on Ticketmaster, ranging from $795 to $1,667. Meanwhile, it generally costs $559 to $838 for similar tickets on the second-hand marketplace StubHub.
These resale prices are expected to drop within the week before the festival starts as ticketholders hope to sell, though this could be tempered by the sheer number of fans for some headliners, like Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter, seeking a ticket.
The cost of a GA+ ticket will cost roughly $100 more per day. Meanwhile, 4-day VIP tickets officially cost over $1670, with Tier 3 tickets expected to cost $1775 and Tier 4 expected to be $1880.
The full lineup of Lollapalooza 2025 includes over 170 artists, including Doechii, Luke Combs, Korn, Twice, A&AP Rocky, Gracie Abrams, and Tyler, The Creator.
