YouTube journalist Pablo Torre has obtained the Art of Play security footage that shows what happened when Kelly Clarkson visited the Brooklyn store on Saturday, October 10.

As you probably know already, Kelly claimed that she received the “Pretty Woman” treatment, implying that the shop workers assumed she didn’t have the money to afford the $15,000 bird and suggested she check out other items instead. The store responded by saying the bird was never for sale and it was all a miscommunication. Kelly then called out the response by sharing a photo of the price tag on the wall of the store.

Art of Play’s co-owner just gave multiple interviews in which he called out Kelly for bringing danger to the store, a small business.

You can see the security footage show up at around the 18-minute mark in the video.

Kelly was seen walking into the store, wearing a yellow sweater and baggy pants with a backpack on her back. It appears that she had her two kids with her.

After entering the store, Kelly picks up a kaleidoscope and looks through it for a few seconds. Just a couple minutes after walking into the store, she comes upon Molly, the automaton bird. A shopkeeper comes over and chats with her while in front of the bird. The man appears to be relaxed, with a drink in one hand, his other hand resting on a chair, and his legs crossed.

As the man tells her something, both Kelly and the shopkeeper are seen pointing at the bird.

The interaction lasts just seconds and after Kelly walks away, looking at other items, the shopkeeper is seen pointing at something else in the store, but she doesn’t see. When Kelly turns around, the man is then talking to other customers.

Kelly then walks back to the front of the store, puts the items she previously picked up back in their places on the shelves, and then goes to exit the store. Before leaving, Kelly is seen saying something to the man behind the counter, with a lot of gesturing happening between both of them.

Torre noted that the man behind the counter appeared “baffled” by what happened.

The security footage shows that Kelly was in the store for four minutes and 50 seconds. Torre noted that no one in the store appeared to discuss what happened, apparently showing that nobody thought there was an issue.
