Kelly Clarkson is opening up about the upcoming end of her talk show.

The 43-year-old singer’s The Kelly Clarkson Show will be coming to an end after seven seasons later this year, and she was recently asked if there is a song she hasn’t gotten to cover yet for Kellyoke that she wants to.

“Oh my god. No, it’s so funny. That’s been our discussion because we only have so many tape days left and so we’re trying to figure out what, and I’ve had a lot of requests for ‘Golden’ [from KPop Demon Hunters] so we’re trying to get that one approved to do, but I think I have a lot of thoughts,” Kelly said on SiriusXM Hits 1.

She then talked about the decision to end the talk show and prioritizing being a mom.

“My first thought is as a mom, obviously, so that was basically why the decision was made. I think the hardest part though, other than that, is like it’s successful, so it’s hard to have that. You know, it was an impossible achievement and then we achieved it, and so it’s hard,” she says. “You know, you have your family, y’all work with your crew. People maybe know y’all, but you know everybody that’s been down for the ride, so it’s like for seven years, you know, you’ve created, we did it in L.A., we carried people here to New York, we have new people.”

“Seven years, so it’s like that’s a long time. My kids have grown up in that, so it’s like, you know, I think for me, I think being the one that made the decision, I think anytime there’s job loss, you know, and all these people are talented and A-list and they’re going to, they’re fine, but I think that’s the thing that kind of got me that was hard for me, but at the same time, you know, it had to be a family decision that we had to do, and you know, it’s already hard enough just to be an artist in that schedule and have a family, and then plus do the talk show and have a family, so it’s a lot on the plate.”
