Jurassic World Rebirth roars past $300 million on opening weekend

The Gareth Edwards-directed film opened on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, and drew approximately 10 million admissions in 5 days, according to Deadline. Saturday saw the film’s highest daily gross since release, with $36.7 million, up around 40% from Friday’s total of $26.3 million.
In global markets, Rebirth earned $318.3 million from 82 territories, the franchise’s second-highest worldwide debut after Jurassic World ($525.5 million). International markets contributed $171 million. Dolby Cinema brought in $8 million over five days, marking its highest-ever July 4 weekend. AMC Disney Springs in Orlando led all theaters with $299,000.

Jurassic World Rebirth had a reported $180 million production budget and received $150 million in media value from partners including Jeep, Dr. Pepper, Quaker, and M&Ms. According to PostTrak, 61% of viewers were male, 51% were aged 18–34, and 50% of total admissions occurred before 5 p.m. Latino and Hispanic audiences represented 26% of ticket buyers.
