On Monday (July 20), Deadline announced that the 55-year-old actor will be starring opposite Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning in the upcoming Paramount+ legal drama thriller series Discretion.
In the upcoming series, Josh will be playing Greg, a lawyer and the husband of Nicole‘s “powerful and formidable corporate law partner at the same prestigious firm entangled in a dark web of NDAs.”
Elle is playing Lenny, “a summer associate who realizes she is bound by the exact non-disclosure agreement she is investigating, upending her mentor-protégé dynamic” with Nicole‘s character.

Over the years, Nicole and Elle have worked together several times including in The Beguiled, How To Talk To Girls At Parties, and most recently Margo’s Got Money Problems.
Along with starring in Discretion, Nicole and Elle will also be serving as executive producers. Production for the eight-episode drama is scheduled to begin later this year and will launch on Paramount+ next year.
Josh most recently starred opposite Kristen Wiig in the Apple TV series Palm Royale, which was canceled earlier this year after two seasons. He’ll next be starring alongside Mark Wahlberg and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the new mafia movie By Any Means, which hits theaters on September 4. Watch the trailer here!
